CHANGE: The Time is Now

As Americans, we dream of a President who is honest, personable, intelligent, and wise.

 

We want a leader with courage and integrity who has known the struggles of an everyday American. A lot of people have stopped believing that may even be possible.

 

I haven't stopped believing. I support Barack Obama because he is that leader.  I have come to learn that you may be a supporter of Obama as well.  Now that he has been so successful through Super Tuesday, we need to show that we truly believe and give what we can to help him make it through to the Convention.  Word on the street is that the Clinton's donated $5 million of their own money into her campaign in the past few weeks while Obama continues to rely on support from Americans; whether big or small.  So I ask, that you help in whatever way you can:

 

-Make a donation, whatever size you can afford, to the Obama campaign, either through the site at www.barackobama.com, the Obama store (linked from his site) or help me with my personal fundraising goal: http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/breez

 

-If you can't make a donation at this time, make a pledge instead.

 

-If you know of others, friends or family, who also support Obama, please forward this e-mail onto them asking for a similar gift, perhaps matching yours.

 

-My personal goal is to reach or surpass my fundraising goal by May 13th.  There are 10 more contests between now and May 13th and only a total of 14 contests between now and the Democratic National Convention (Denver, August 2008) where they nominate the candidate for the Presidential election.

 

-Some of you may have already contributed and I extend a huge thank you to you and ask that you consider donating your time or money to the campaign between now and May 13th.

 

This campaign for the presidency is unparalleled in history. Our need for an honest, fresh-thinking leader could not be more urgent. Americans are hungry for change and Barack Obama will bring that change when he is elected.
